Privacy Policy

Who we are

NIL for Kids (nilforkids.com) is a free, independent educational website for parents, guardians, caregivers and coaches of youth athletes, operated privately in the United States. Contact: info@nilforkids.com.

What we collect (very little)

• An email address — only if you type one in. That's the only personal information our forms collect. We use it to send the NIL Starter Kit, rule-change alerts, scam warnings, (if you joined a waitlist) launch updates, and news and offers about NIL for Kids and other Teddy Dupay Basketball Academy (TDBA) programs and products.
• The eligibility checker stores nothing. Your answer is worked out in your browser, and nothing about it is sent anywhere.
• Visit counts. Our host, Cloudflare, counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are viewed, roughly which country, and the kind of device and browser. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites. That is the only counter on this site.
• No Google or Meta. Since October 20, 2026, no page of this site loads Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, or any other advertising tool, because young athletes read these pages too.

Children

This site is written for adults — parents, guardians, caregivers and coaches. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted an email address, write info@nilforkids.com and we'll delete it promptly.

How your email is stored and used

• Addresses are stored in a private database on Cloudflare's infrastructure, accessible only to the site operator.
• About once an hour, new addresses are also copied to Brevo, our email service, which sends our emails. Brevo gets your email address and which site it came from.
• We never sell your data.
• We may email you news and offers about NIL for Kids and other Teddy Dupay Basketball Academy (TDBA) programs and products.
• A child's own details are never used for marketing or ads. Only a grown-up's email is.

Business transfers

If this website or its assets are acquired by, merged with, or sold to another owner, your information may be transferred to that new owner as part of the transaction. Any new owner will remain bound by the commitments in this policy.

Unsubscribe / deletion

Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also reply "unsubscribe" to any email, or write info@nilforkids.com from that address. Once you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you; we keep your address on file, marked do-not-send.

Links to other sites

We link to official sources (FHSAA, IRS, the U.S. Department of Education, and others). Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.

NIL for Kids is an independent educational resource — not affiliated with the FHSAA, the NCAA, or any school — and nothing on this site is legal, tax, or financial advice.
